Jurassic Park (1993)

Answer: Whit Hertford

Hertford, a native of Provo, Utah, had the small role of a young tourist. At the beginning of the film, Dr. Grant gave a speech to several people, including the young tourist, about a velociraptor claw that he had found and he described how the velociraptor used it. After he got done talking, the young tourist mentioned that the velociraptor did not sound scary since it sounded more like a giant turkey. Dr. Grant gave further details about how the velociraptor used the claw and the young tourist the got scared. Hertford had guest starring stints on the TV shows, "The Ben Stiller Show", "Full House" and "Mr. Belvedere".

Answer: Dr. Harding

Dr. Harding is a Jurassic Park official who is only seen during the sick Triceratops scene. We don't find out what happens to him in the end, as he isn't mentioned after that scene. Dr. Harding was played by one of the producers of "Jurassic Park", Gerard R. Molen.

Answer: The T-Rex

When Ellie, Alan, Lex, and Tim are running from the raptors they get surrounded by them, and as they are about to attack them, the T-Rex comes out of nowhere and bites the raptor. The other raptor gets distracted by this and goes to fight the T-Rex, allowing the four to get out of the building and into a gas powered Jeep with Hammond and Malcolm.

Answer: Beijing, Central Park

This example of a butterfly moving air in Beijing, and thus effecting the weather in Central Park, is an example of how small changes vastly effect an outcome. This explanation goes over Ellie's head, so he tries using a drop of water on her hand. In Jurassic Park, Hammond is trying to control too many variables. The sex of the dinos, the enclosures, the rides, the computers, the guests, his staff, and so on. If each of these variables has slight changes, then predicting the outcome is impossible; that's Chaos Theory. As Malcolm tries to explain earlier, trying to have too much control leads to disarray. No man can control everything, especially an extinct ecosystem that, as Ellie puts it, "we know nothing about."

In the movie that features Mr. DNA as the nararrator, it is mentioned that InGen fills in the missing parts of the dinosaur DNA with amphibian DNA. It is soon figured out that the DNA must be from these frogs.

Arnold was played by Samuel L. Jackson. His name was Ray in the movie, but John in the book. His character was a chain-smoking pessimist.

She flips all the switches in the utility shed, and is promptly attacked by a velociraptor. She manages to escape, but she injures her leg on the way out.

InGen is plastered all over the helicopters used to fly to Isla Nublar. It discovered how to obtain prehistoric DNA and clone dinosaurs.

Gennaro was the lawyer for Hammond's investors. He's kind of a weaselly character. He abandons the kids in the car when the T-Rex breaks out.
